Military Committee

War is at NATO’s doorstep. Commanders and Military Representatives across NATO member states are critical to strengthening the alliance’s military readiness. Failure to prepare could lead to catastrophic consequences.
Develop a strategy that aligns with the North Atlantic Council’s directives while addressing the Russo-Ukrainian war, conflict and unrest in the Middle East, and the potential defence of Taiwan from Chinese aggression.
But remember, no plan survives first contact with the enemy. Your ability to anticipate your threats, interpret intentions, and assess the risk will be NATO’s final line of defence for global peace and stability.

Director's Welcome Letter

To all NATO Military Commanders:
Ukraine must not fall into Russian hands. It will be the fracture that will split NATO apart, we must unite as one and curb Putin’s aggression once and for all. We have prepared a simulation for you this March, we expect your undivided attention and presence. This will determine the future of this council, and its ability to stop other countries’ aggressive behaviour. Failure to do so puts the council, and the global community, in a devastating position. The fall of Ukraine will be the first of many in our various partners around the world, it must not happen at any costs. We hope that we chose the right individuals for this job, the world is counting on us.
Godspeed.

Position Paper Format
Delegates submit strategy proposals instead of position papers.
  • Proposals outline tactical recommendations and resource allocations to support NATO’s objectives.
  • These proposals are shared with other delegates in the committee and serve as the initial directives for debate and voting.
Formatting and examples will be shared with Delegates after they are assigned a role within the Committee.
